Volunteering
Do you hate to see food wasted while there are people who are struggling to feed their families? Can you spare a few hours a week to be part of the solution and help us run the Fairbite shop?
How we work
Both Cambridge City Foodbank and the Fairbite Foodclub are staffed by unpaid volunteers. We have about 200 people who gift their time to the community because it makes a difference.
Fairbite Food Club needs a dedicated team of volunteers to give the best service we can offer. If you can offer a few hours a week you might be part of this team.
Testimonials
The more we give, the happier we feel. Volunteering increases self-confidence. You are doing good for others and the community, which provides a natural sense of accomplishment. Your role as a volunteer can also give you a sense of pride and identity.
